About 100 kilometers separate the core of Riyadh from the Edge of the World. This distance can be traveled within two hours, depending on your vehicle and the route you choose. There are two ways to travel to the destination: either you select a trip package or you travel independently. The Edge of the World can be reached by two popular routes. The journey to the Edge of the World begins in Riyadh. The starting location for both routes is Al Uyaynah, so you must first reach there. The paths then differ for Sadus Dam and Acacia Valley.


Sadus Dam

It is the first route to the Edge of the World. You should travel an extra 30 km to reach Sadus Dam from Al Uyaynah. Bypassing it, turning right, and traveling for 24 kilometers off-road will be a different experience in your travel diary. People are mostly investing their one and a half hour to reach the Edge of the World from Sadus Dam. The tracks left by other vehicles are the only indication that there is a road. Thus, it's not quite simple to follow. Travelers cannot take their eyes off the dried rivers, tents, camels, etc. on the route to the Edge of the World. It will be either simpler or more difficult to cross them depending on how much rain they got recently. Another interesting location is Hidden Cave, situated a few kilometers before reaching the Edge of the World. You can descend a ladder into a small underground cave. Acacia Valley

Although the second route to Riyadh's Edge of the World begins at Al Uyaynah as well, you won't get to Sadus Dam. You'll need to make a left turn onto a trail indicated in Google Maps with "Access to EOW" before you reach Sadus Dam. Sometimes, this route is blocked by gates.
